In reply to Gordon Pease. The RTA Northwest Hub / Greyhound is the the building that housed Children's Palace. It is the same building, although it is now unrecognizable today. After Children's Palace closed it was an auto parts store. After that closed it sat vacant for several years. The RTA remodeled the Children's Palace building for the new hub. The building was spilt in n half so a daycare could be opened. They also did this downtown st Wright Stop Plaza hub. Although Wright Stop never found a leader for a daycare the Northwest Hub did briefly. After the daycare closed that part of the building which has a sperate entrance sat empty for awhile.The local Greyhound operator lost down his lease in downtown Dayton had moved to Trotwood to the now empty Cashland that once was a Mc Donald's then moved into the space. The former Best Buy across the street from Children's Palace , former Salem Mall is actually the same building that housed Hill's Department Store. Best Buy just did a remodel to the building. After that has sat vacant over a decade it is now a special GFS grocery store in 2023. This was because a deal was worked out with GFS and Trotwood after the city became a food desert in 2017.

Yes, that Trotwood area has changed greatly, I believe it was in the building that is now the bus station, but it could have been where Best Buy is now. I mainly remember it being next to the Salem mall, which is now entirely gone.

The Value City Furniture at 790 Howe Ave in Cuyahoga Falls was built as a Children’s Palace.

The Planet Fitness located at 4314 Milan Road, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 also used to be a Chilrden’s Palace store. I remember going to Cedar Point when I was a kid and seeing this store there. I like how Planet Fitness kept the arched windows and incorporated them as gears. Check it out!
